Wesley Herndon is a graduate of The University of South Carolina School of Business with a degree in accounting. He started his first business at age eighteen and continues to enjoy the challenges of self-employment. He has served terms on the Kershaw County School Board and Kershaw County Council. Continuing his desire to serve the public, he is the Executive Director of both the Kershaw County Education Foundation and South Carolina American Revolution Trust. He is married and has four daughters. Hiking the Appalachian Trail is one of his hobbies when the girls don’t need him for a few days.
